Kira Boyer
Born in 1997
Lives in San Jose, CA, USA
Kira Boyer began creating digital art in high school, beginning exploring her interests with pixel art, robotics, and simple HTML. In 2015 she enrolled at San Jose State University where she recieved a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in the interdisciplinary Digital Media Art program in 2019. She is the former President of the CADRE Student Organization at San Jose State where she has participated in events such as Makerfaire (2018 & 2019) and Gamer Gala (2018), as well as held a number of class exhibitions. Outside of school, she has exhibited at the San Francisco Palace of Fine Arts for the Surfrider Foundation's Message in a Bottle 4 (2019) and at B4B3L4B in Oakland, California, where she has participated in the 2019 group exhibition titled Dimensions. 3D modeling, sculpture, creative coding, videography and physical computing are her true passions, but Kira is also interested in projection mapping, graphic art, photography, prop-making, VR, AR, and screen-printing.
